Sadie Hawkins* originated in the hillbilly comic strip Li'l Abner and the unofficial holiday is Feb 29, but we'll celebrate it early. The custom is that it's ladies' choice, so if you've been too shy to ask a guy to dance, now is the chance!

Dress up for the occasion! For more fun – we'll have contests for the best-dressed and homeliest characters!

 

 

Venue –  The Murphey School

7-8pm Beginner lesson with Richard Badu (free with admission)

8-11pm Dance

    TSDS is a nonprofit, volunteer organization that promotes swing dance and live swing music in the Triangle region. We both produce dances and help other area organizations promote lessons, dances, and other swing-related events.
