This swinging 7-piece band from Raleigh/Durham is comprised of George Knott (bass/vocals), Lucian Cobb (trombone), Peter Lamb (saxophone), Al Strong (trumpet), Joe Voelker (guitar), Aaron Tucker (drums) and Laura Windley (vocals). Atomic plays music influenced by artists such as Jimmie Lunceford, Jack Teagarden, Bix Beiderbecke, Duke Ellington, Charlie Barnet, Fletcher Henderson,  Benny Goodman, and other great music from between the world wars.
