The Murphey School (Shared Visions Retreat Center)

The Murphey School was built in 1923, a fitting venue for one of our monthly swing dance events. In recent decades it fell into disrepair and went through a complete historic renovation in 2008-2010 and was accepted in the National Register of Historic Places. A 2500 sq ft auditorium with wood floors, a raised stage, ceiling fans, and great air conditioning provide a great environment for our 100+ attendees to dance into the night.
