  • Where we offer Dance Lessons - TSDS does not hold regular class instruction during the week. We are non profit organization that is supported by many volunteers, including local dance instructors who donate their time to provide starter lessons before each of our dances. Please seek them out for formal instruction on Swing Dancing. Many of them can be found on our page of Local Dance Instructors.

The Swing of Things offers ongoing weekly lessons in authentic partnered swing dancing in Greensboro, North Carolina locations. We specialize in Jitterbug, Lindy Hop, and Charleston social dances. You will learn the elements of partnered movement, meet new people, exercise, and have fun...all at the same time!

Frankie Hagan teaches partnered dancing exclusively. Frankie prefers to teach "the social style" of dancing. Frankie primarily instructs a combination of Latin, Ballroom, and Swing dances. These dances include: Carolina Shag, East Coast Swing (Single Count Swing/Jitterbug), West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, American Waltz, American Foxtrot, American Cha-Cha, American Rumba, American Tango, Samba/Bossa Nova, Balboa and Mambo/Salsa.
